orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 6.5 km (9:14 / km)

PFO Colour Coded, Tockholes, Brown course. Lovely woods apart from being very wet. Generally the forest was quicker than the paths because the paths were a quagmire. No mistakes, but twice got confused about which control I was going to which cost me a bit of time. Then I decided not to bother with the final loop because I was pressed for time, and knackered, and virtually not moving by that point anyway. Retired with dignity.

running 1:04:17 [3] 6.1 mi (10:32 / mi) +350m 8:57 / mi

Beamsley Beacon, Round Hill, Foldshaw, Beamsley Beacon. Stormed up to the Beacon a minute quicker than previously, steady run round the moor then another effort up and down the Beacon.

Friday Dec 1, 2017 #

running 34:33 [3] 3.9 mi (8:52 / mi)

Lap of Fewston Resr in the dark. A bit icy in places.

Wednesday Nov 29, 2017 #

hill intervals 30:00 [5] 3.5 mi (8:34 / mi)

6 x Dunny Hill. Suffering, although the slowdown from 3 onwards was down to my heart feeling a bit on edge. I couldn't lift the pace without feeling it was going to go apeshit.

2:02, 2:06, 2:17, 2:18, 2:22, 2:15.

Not too bad considering.

Feeling a bit under the weather generally.

Tuesday Nov 28, 2017 #

running 1:01:29 [4] 7.0 mi (8:47 / mi)

Butcher Hill, Newlay Bridge, Kirkstall Bridge, road route. Started steady but increased the effort up Pollard Lane and kept up the speed from there.
