Sunday Jan 28 #

orienteering 43:26 [4] 5.2 km (8:21 / km)

YHOA middle distance champs, Storthes Hall. Fairly easy. Running OK but tired, and a bit slow up the hills. My back started hurting towards the end and now I can't stand up straight. Don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll just have to sit down for a bit.

5 minutes behind Martin, which is fine by me.

Saturday Jan 27 #

orienteering 30:00 [3] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

Control hanging, Middleton Woods. YHJS training.

urban/sprint 10:26 [4] 1.4 km (7:27 / km)

Sprint relay round Nell Bank. 1:1500 map. Not very quick compared to the M18s. I was alright in the parkland but got confused around the buildings.

Friday Jan 26 #

running 27:00 [4] 3.3 mi (8:11 / mi)

Parkside and Weetwood.

Thursday Jan 25 #

hill intervals 30:00 [5] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

6 x Dunny Hill. Much better tonight. For the first time in 3 weeks my lungs are working properly.

2:08, 2:06, 2:06, 2:09, 2:05, 2:08.

Steady start then kept it going well.

Tuesday Jan 23 #

running 1:00:23 [3] 5.9 mi (10:14 / mi)

Steady with Evie. Potternewton, Gledhow Park, Chapel Allerton, King Lane, Stonegate Road. Very mild - I wore shorts.
