running 38:00 [2] 3.6 mi (10:33 / mi)

Not the planned run - Evie suffering from something.

To the Meanwood Arms, then a pause, then slowly up Stonegate Road and into the Parkland's/King Alfred's, over the cycle path to Tongue Lane and back down Church Lane. Picked up a little bit on the way back.

hill running 1:10:00 [3] 5.5 mi (12:44 / mi) +200m 11:26 / mi

On ilkley moor with Matt, Evie and Sarah. Plenty of snow left, occasionally up to knee deep making it hard work. Although apparently nowhere near what it had been earlier in the week when Matt and Adrian were up to their waists.

Up a bit, along a bit past the Swastika Stone, up a bit more and back along the slope below the Badger Stone until we were above White Wells and then back down and then down a bit more, finishing weaving through the woods.

Nice.

running 52:39 [4] 6.5 mi (8:06 / mi) +200m 7:24 / mi

Adel Crag. Not quite so cold but still snow everywhere. My heart was working properly today and I was happy pushing the pace along.

running 41:50 [3] 4.7 mi (8:54 / mi)

Seven Arches, same as yesterday. Maybe a little easier with the snow packed down a bit more, but a little slower. Still carrying excess weight, and I cannot push above about 75% effort. Fine on the flat, struggling on the hills.

Wednesday Feb 28, 2018 #

running 41:10 [3] 4.7 mi (8:46 / mi)

Seven Arches, in about 4 inches of snow. A bit better I suppose. Carrying about half a stone of excess water. Very cold but I wrapped up warm including a cag, and I wore my dobs.
