Stainbeck and Stonegate. Steady start, got faster when I started going downhill. Not taking your wife on your run means you can go quicker. Unless you are Ricky.

running 59:33 [3] 5.0 mi (11:55 / mi)

Circuit of Dalmeny estate from under the Forth Rail Bridge. It stopped raining when we left the hills of Perthshire behind - nice and sunny in the flatlands.

scenic pottering 1:48:10 [3] 7.9 mi (13:42 / mi)

Very wet, very slow run with Tasha. Crieff, Lady Mary's Walk, Baird Monument, Laggan Hill, the Hosh. Some lovely bits, especially by the river and the ridge of wooded hills after the monument. Cloud base was just about on the tree tops, we weren't going up any proper hills today.

Note

Ben Vorlich and Stuc a'Chroin. Got the best of the weather, a bit grey on the way up but then quite a lot of sunshine for the rest of the day and the cloud coming and going on the tops. Easy walking to the top of Ben Vorlich, then quite rough, steep and rocky across to Stuc a'Chroin. The return journey contouring across bogs was horrible.
