Danefield maprun. Spent a lot of time at controls hunting around for a beep. More than 4 minutes standing still according to strava. Legs were knackered but surprisingly comfortable in the terrain.
Arches, Bedquilts, Ireland Wood, Clayton Wood, Newlay Bridge, Kirkstall Bridge. Jogging around picking up a few turfs on the way. didn't bother with the ones that required a small diversion.
Warm up round Carnegie 6 x 2 mins(1 min), Weetwood and Lawnswood 6 mins jog home
Felt awful warming up. I didn't think my heart was going to work properly and my stomach felt bad. I wasn't going to bother but managed a couple of strides that didn't feel so bad. Doing the reps was fine as it turned out, and better than last week because I was much quicker on the climb by the ring road. Then felt awful jogging home again. I only felt alright when I was running fast(ish).
