POM Day 2. Near Faro. Good race until control #5. Followed a wrong trail to #6 and lost map contact (3 minutes lost). After some more mistakes I was catched by E. Bousser at #11 and tried to follow, but lost him after #12. The guy was simply too fast.
A rather bad race all in all. 11th place for the day.

Portugal O Meeting Day 1. Near Tavira. A nice middle distance race. Not to bad, except for a 2 minute mistake at control #6.
5th place (out of about 65).

Multi step fitness test on ergo bike. 2 minutes intervals, starting with 60 W, 30 W steps. Stopped at 140 bpm and 210 W. With reduced HRmax 160 (cycling: 160, running: 170). Result: VO2max = 54 ml/kg/min. Still too high, I think.
