Note

Fredericton, Mactaquac Provincial Park
registration noon; start at 1PM

orienteering race 1:25:00 [4] *** 6.3 km (13:30 / km)
spiked:12/12c

Mactaquac Score-O, scored 28 pts getting the 12 furtest controls. Felt so dead in the end. Not very complicated o decisions, everything was sorta straight forward, it's just the physical part that was hard.

orienteering 52:22 [4] **
spiked:19/20c

What a mean course setting! The setter forgot to put the flags up on the poles and placed them in the most randomest places. Yes, it was her first time, but come on! In the middle of a tornbush field? It was soo disorganized! jesh, good thing it was a score-o. There was one of the controls that was in this construction area , one of the obvious route choices was crossing this trench about 2 meters deep and 3 meters wide on a skinny plank that bent. It was insane! The navigating itself wasn't hard, it was just getting to the damn control threw the torns and swamps. Arg..
