Orienteering Event: A meet

Orienteering NB Championships
UNB Woodlot
orienteering race 1:22:21 [4] ** 6.2 km (13:17 / km)
shoes: Olway Tigers #2
NB Champs

Last race of the season & what a way to finish it. On control #2, I had the perfect attackpoint, the perfect execution of it, hit the feature dead on.. no control. It was in the wrong spot. Then I kinda had to gamble witch way to go to find it. Such a piss off.
Number 4 was missplaced, 6,7,8, involved sketchy maping mixed with bad placement & the rest of the course was road running. You had to be lucky to win this course. I came second, betting Carol & Vicky beat me.

Orienteering Event: OANS

A-meet, Debert
orienteering race 1:09:00 [3] ** 5 km (13:48 / km)
shoes: Olway Tigers #2
Pretty crap race on an extremly hagard map.. the joys of orienteering in NS.

Saw a squeleton out there, looked human because all i saw was a rib cage, hips, and spine. When I got to the finish, I told the organisers & we went out again to make shure it wasn`t. After looking at it for awhile, we started looking for other stuff around & we ended up finding a jaw. We think it might of been a wolf or something.
