Jim persuaded me to go for a ski... -19C with a northerly wind...tracks all blown in...fingers never thawed...glasses fogged up then froze...I quit before Jim did and headed back to my car. Then went to the bank. A man came in behind me and told me he 'admired ' my parking (I knew I was at an angle but was only going to be a few minutes) and that I shouldn't park if I couldn't do it properly!! I then ignored him. When I got to the teller, she was rolling her eyes as she had heard the whole exchange! And my back right wheel was only just on the line! And there were other empty spaces!!! Maybe it's all this cold weather getting people down. Ave temp for Calgary for February was -18C

with Andree - we were both tired from the weekend. Surprisingly cold - only -12 but there was an east wind. So didn't go to the end of St Patrick's Is.

Averaged -20 all day but brilliant sunshine and not much wind so beautiful ski with Carmie and Yolande. Frequent stops to regroup. Freshly groomed after yesterday's Cookie Race which resulted in very hard corduroy - concerned I was going to catch an edge coming down some of the steep hills especially on Packers. J A off skiing by himself - and a misunderstanding of the notes I left for him, meant he was back in Calgary before he heard that I was still at William Watson... Home just after 9:30pm. However, pleasant evening with Dave, the chatty Parks guy there! Lots of info about Kananaskis!
