Running warm up/down 5:00 [3]

(Approximate) Necessary to run to maintain body heat for survival.

Orienteering race 1:43:00 [3] *** 11.0 km (9:22 / km)
19c

(Distance approximate) Sloppy first control because I didn't realize the scale was 1:15000, but eventually I noticed. Finger were also freezing. On the second control saw someone taking an interesting route, so I checked my map and realized he had a really good idea, so I did that too. Fingers started to warm up. Third through fifth control was catching up, but at the fifth there were five leaders all together (including Giacomo, Ian, and the Blue Man). We stayed that way until the eleventh control, and then Giacomo and I started to pull away a bit. On fourteen we both took the longer but flatter right trail with a better attack point, and that put us out ahead by ourselves. We ran together for the rest of the course and finished at the same time... because I wanted to tie!

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Up. Worrying because I forgot my gloves...

Running race 40:35 [3] 10.0 km (4:04 / km)

Didn't feel like I could actually run until about 5k or so, but after that I felt really good. Good thing to, because less than a kilometer later was the really big hill.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Down.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Curly fries from my roommate slowed me down a little, but it was such a nice day that I still ran well.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Felt slow at first but I was running my usual pace, and as usual I was moving faster towards the end.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Changed things up. Started fast and slowed down a little towards the end.
