The interweb seems to have run out of ideas (they obviously didn't consult Uncle Juffy's Almanac of Giant Vegetable Freaks) so this week I am still a watermelon, only a bigger one. I have hooked both feet around Mum's ribcage so there is no danger of me coming out too early.

Mum and Dad and Jess took me Christmas orienteering this morning. Dad came over all protective and shouty when a Dalkeith person tried to kill us all. Mum and Jess hid up the street with Uncle tRicky while Aunt Kirsten tried bravely to break up the fight.
Once Mum worked out that there weren't little mitten-shaped patches of thick bush all over Dalkeith they found lots of clues, and not in the river this time.
And they won some chocolate (thanks LOSTrichard and fizzyred!)

Later we had another swim, which seems to make Mum pretty happy. She was in a bit of a stress before, and all those hormones are exhausting. I'm looking forward to being in control of my own hormones, I think it will be a lot more relaxing.

Unspecified (quilting) 4:00:00 [2]

Mum is trying to be all domestic, bless her.
I will have to practice pretending that her sewing efforts are really really impressive, the way Dad does. She is making a quilt for me to lie on, which I will have to do very gently, in case it disintegrates.

Running race (Golf course 5kTT) 48:00 [3] 5.0 km (9:36 / km)

This was my first try so I let Mum take me around the golf course. Geez she is slow, and she kept stopping to pick up golf balls. She doesn't realise that you can't use them for Wii Golf.
I can't wait til I can do this without her weighing me down, I'll smash Lucky Luke's record in no time.
