Notsquirming 10:00 [0]

I love to kick my legs. I kick them ALL THE TIME whether I'm on the floor, in my cot, on grandma or ANYwhere. So mum bought this weird contraption for me, she thought I'd like it, for some reason. It is called a Jolly Jumper but I don't know why, because it never fails to make me stand perfectly still.

Squirming 2:00 [5]

I feel like I had a major breakthrough today, one important step closer to whatever it is I'm trying so hard to do. After weeks and weeks of lying on my tummy, kicking my legs, waving my arms and rubbing my feet together like mad, I spent a week or two practising a trick where I push my face hard into the ground and walk up with my legs until my bottom sticks right up in the air and I fall over sidewaays. This helped a bit but it still wasn't quite right, so today I pushed myself up on my hands and knees, on all fours with my tummy OFF the ground. I swayed there, gently, for a minute or two, without any idea what to do next, and then in desperation pushed hard with my legs and face-planted.
I'm still not sure where exactly I'm headed with this, but I plan to do a whole lot more of it tomorrow.

Sleeping (running training) 1:00:00 [3]

Another lovely relaxing sleep on Dad. He has this lovely soothing way of holding me sort of sideways on one arm, while soothingly shouting "come on tRicky! Run faster! Jen, drop your shoulders! Lift your heels! Two more reps, go Ben! Feel the burn in your quads! Hoooooahhhhh!!" and other soothing mutterings which can't help but send me to sleep.
