Croozin' 1 [3]

I don't crawl any more, crawling is just a way to get to the next climbable thing. Some things look climbable and are, like Mum and the bath and my special climbing shelf in the playroom. Some things look climbable and are not, like washing baskets and pot plants, which you can climb for a bit but then they are suddenly upside down and there is a mess. Some things you can climb for a while, and then you can only wriggle until someone rescues you, like the yellow bars at the park. The best things are the ones that you can climb and then shuffle around, like coffee tables, covered in things that you can grab and throw on the floor.

Eating (cat biscuits) 2:00 [5]

Mum doesn't often leave me alone in the lounge room. Dad sometimes does, and the other day I had time to get all the way down the hall into the shower, and he couldn't find me. Today Mum let her guard down and left the room, and I finally managed to scramble into the kitchen to the cat biscuits which have eluded me for so long. Yummo.

Unspecified (day care) 1 [3]

I learned two new tricks at daycare this week. Trick one was walking with a trolley, which is even more fun than walking around the edge of the couch. The trolley goes wherever you want to! I wish I had one at home, I would catch that pesky cat in no time.
Trick two was learning how to stay awake ALL DAY! It turned out to be Mum's fault because she left my fluffy blue thing at home. I'm a bit precious about my fluffy blue thing. When we got home after I'd been asleep ALL DAY, I had a nap, then dinner and a bath and then I slept ALL NIGHT! I didn't wake up til morning! Actually Mum had to wake me up in the end. She seems happy today, Mum does, not sure why.

Screaming 20:00 [5]

My friend Archie came to visit! We have had a great time squirming on the floor. Archie is so good at doing pushups, but he can't chase the cat like I can. The best bit was yesterday, after we had seaweed for lunch and Mum and Aunty Vicky took us up a big hill in the rain, we had a really fun screaming competition on the way home in the car. All the way home. I don't usually do much screaming, but today we both tried our hardest, and Mum sat in the middle to be the judge. She said afterwards that Archie won but that I got a certificate for effort. I wobbled my lower lip like ANYthing but I just don't have his range or volume in the higher register.
