Frowning 2:00:00 [3]
Haven't had a good frown for a while but the Esperance Show was enough to overwhelm me almost as much as the whole world did for the first couple of months of my life. Mmmum and I went there with Felix and his mmmmum.
The shed full of noisy, unpredictable chickens was definitely overwhelming and made me cling to mmmmum like a koala.
The petting zoo would have been ok if it weren't for the other 50 kids, who were overwhelming. Oh and the goats. The goats! Koala time. Eeek.
There was a magician. He didn't do any magic, just made a lot of Dad jokes and balloon animals and the other kids in the crowd said he was boring, but I was bemused into stunned silence by his bright red outfit.
There were good bits. There was a mango smoothie, and yummmo, boy did I enjoy that. I was wary about my first sip but then I stuck my whole face in and not long afterwards had a massive bout of mango-flavoured sneezes that made me frown again.
Felix and I played for AAAGES on a wooden ramp meant for sheep, and we had a bit of a fight over a bucket full of cigarette butts in a carpark which was the greatest thing either of us had ever seen. At this point Mmmmum and Mmmmum wondered why they had payed money to come in, so we stared at a horse for a while to humour them.
Felix went home, and Mmmum and I explored the big gym where there were rows and rows of wilting flowers and quilted things and liberal party candidates and inexplicable collections of antique ashtrays (est 1984) and the like. That was bemusing for us both.
After lunch we went home and I slept for 3 hours.
