Training Log Archive: Edmund

Mum and me (and a cast of 1000 extras) are having an Adventure! We are in New Zealand, which is a place where you get reallly really hot and feverish and get spots on your hands and your feet and your mouth, and then you have to sit on the bus for hours and hours.
At the start Mum was a bit grumpy but then auntie Kirsten and uncles Dalto and tRicky came to visit and she seems happier now. She obviously wasn't eating enough yoghurt or something. I'm not eating yoghurt either, in fact I'm not eating anything much, except occasional chips and today I ate Mum's scrambled eggs.
Holidays are a bit funny, there is lots of sitting around and feeling hot, but there are some fun bits, like playing in the carpark and having a bath in the laundry tub. Yesterday I had a huuuuuuge bath, Mum called it Lake Wanaka, and it was lovely to swim in and full of tasty yummy rocks.
Mum rides her bike sometimes. She isn't very good at it these days, so I get babysat by all sorts of people until she eventually comes back.
I think we're going home soon because Dadad probably hasn't had a proper meal for days and days either.
This morning is the best, because I have a cardboard box and a muesli bar and I am putting the muesli bar in the box and taking it out again, one million times. This is just brilliant and totally worth all the travelling, because it is not something that I could do at home.@
