Bounce Bounce Bounce (Brick path) 3 [3]
shoes: Skin!

Dad came home earlier today with a big graze right in the middle of his forehead. Mum thought that was very funny. In fact, it seemed to get funnier and funnier every time she saw Dad. I felt a bit sorry for Dad, he did look a bit silly and he was going to have to go to work with a big scab on his head. In fact, I felt so sorry for Dad that I decided to land on my own forehead while attempting to run downhill down the brick garden path. My legs sort of locked out and since I was worried about the welfare of the sheep and cow I was holding in each hand I kept them safe and used my forehead to arrest my fall. Now I have a red mark in the middle of my forehead too, just like Dad! Dad's very clever, I want to be just like Dad. The sheep and the cow were safe, I know you're all concerned. I didn't cry - Mum thinks there's something wrong with me as I keep smacking my head into things and Not Crying. Seems silly to waste time crying when I can get up and keep learning to run - I'm bored with walking already!

More observations:

1) Grapes are roly poly, and you can roll them across the table which is soooo funny. But if you take a bite out of a grape, they stop being so roly poly, which I suppose is because they are upset at being bitten. It is like when I am tired, I just sit on the floor and go "mmmmuuuuuuuh....." instead of crawling around.

2) When I am drinking milk out of my bottle, and I am really thirsty, I just tip the bottle upside down and all the milk goes into my mouth. It doesn't work though, with my cup with the straw in it. If I tip it upside down, I don't get to drink anything at all, and I don't understand why. But it didn't really matter because suddnely there was a big puddle on the table so I I forgot that I was thirsty and played with the sudden puddle instead.

3) Mum can make bubbles come out of a straw. I had a go and just got a mouthful of water. Weird.

Walking 1 [3]

Walking intervals 30:00 [4]

Now that I'm not confined to a bus/car/pram/plane/mum any more my walking is accelerating at a great pace! I still lurch sort of diagonally with one arm in the air and one out in front, but I don't have to fall onto something any more, because now I can walk a few steps and then stop, and then do some squats and start walking again. It is great fun! I laugh the whole time while I'm walking, and I think that might be why I get unbalanced and fall on my bottom a lot, but that's ok, it is well padded.

Unspecified (grandma) 1 [5]

Hahahaha grandma is funny! You never know WHAT she's going to do next. I live in a constant state of expectant excitement when we stay with grandma and grandad!
