Unspecified long (babysitting) 1 [1]

This weekend mmmum didn't want me around and Dadad was away trying to beat tRicky and Wil, so I had a cast of one thousand babysitters. It was actually pretty fun, I only screamed for a minute as Mmmum left so that her heart strings would snap, and then settled down to being smothered with teenage girly attention for the day.

After dinnertimebathtime, though, Auntie Jo came over and took me away for a sleepover. It was BRILLIANT fun. I chased Pat the Dog around and around and around and around for aaages, saying "ooof.....wooofff.....woooff.....ooooof....". Me, not the dog. Pat doesn't really bark so I had to do it for him.

The picture is a bit old but you get the idea. I don't need a trolley to walk any more!

Toby and Kate played with me too and then we all watched Star Wars with uncle FredMervGav until bedtime.

I had a funny dream at about 3am that mmmmmum was there, but it was only a dream because in the morning uncle FredMervGav got me and Toby and Kate up and gave us yummy breakfast and we all went for a drive. And we drove past lots of cows and sheep and alpacas and horses, and all of a sudden there was a country pub, and there was mmmmmum and auntie Jo, eating bacon! And my friend Evie was there from daycare and all these other people and I ate a croissant. Very strange.

After we went home I slept for FOUR HOURS because it was all a bit much, and now I am going to keep mmmmum very nearby for a day or two in case she gets away again.

When she tries to leave the room I go "mmmmmmmmuhhhh.....mmmmmmuuuuh" until she comes back.

Works every time.

Mmum and I went doctoring again today. I ate a sandwich while mmmum was putting a catheter in an old man and the old man said, so little boy, are you going to be a doctor one day? I wasn't too sure if doctoring looked like fun, until the nurse lady gave me a chocolate, and also the wrapping from the catheter to play with. That was fun, and so was dismantling a roll of sticky tape and posting batteries into the paper-shredding machine.

Today I practised my complaining. "mmmmmmmuuuuuuuuhh...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuuh...." for ages. It is quite hard work, really. Mmumum was so fed up that she took me to the nurse to stick needles in me, silly mum, that just made me complain more. I complained, and complained, about everything. All day. I wanted milk but didn't, and then I wanted food but didn't, I wanted chips for dinner not the meatball stuff that is usually my favourite. I wanted to be carried but then to be put down but then to be picked up and then put down. I wanted to play outside but only if I could run repeatedly onto the road. Then I complained some more.

Until Dadad got home at which point I played fun games and laughed with Dadad until bedtime.

Then Mmmum went for a long walk, I don't know why.
