Training Log Archive: Edmund

I had a late night and lots of yummy food last night when Harriet came to visit so I was pretty tired this morning and unimpressed when mum and dad hauled me out of bed at 5.30 and put me in the blue car.
But we didn't drive very far and when we got out of the car I was sooo excited, because "there's a triathlon!!" I shouted.
Dad had a little tear in his eye when he heard me say that, or maybe he just doesn't like swimming.
So mum and dad and lots of other people did a triathlon! This time dad didn't ride his bike though. MUM rode a bike, and dad went swimming but there was no jetty for me to watch from, and after I played with granny and grandad for a while Dad also RAN past. He almost made it to the finish but then he changed his mind and ran away again and didn't come back for a while, when everyone else had just about finished doing triathlon and were eating watermelon. But I still shouted "YAY DAD!!!" because mum told me to.
Then we had some watermelon too and I did a big wee under the watermelon table.
