Well I wasn't feeling great on the bike today. Still not anywhere near back probably about 80% right now.


Quail Hill to Newport Coast to the Santiago and threw in Silverado.

Pretty much just went and rode easier. I was getting dropped by Greg and Max the entire ride.

Wow. What a difference a day makes. Today I felt much better on the run then yesterday. I am still not anywhere near 100% maybe not even 90% but the run felt much better. The congestion is clearing up and I was not coughing as much. HR is also not drifting as much. Ran with Max today. Ran from Quail hill to the Nix Nature Center and back. Lots of steep climbing. The trails were finally open. You can see that the rain did a lot of damage on the trails. We got in 1700ft of climbing. coming back down hill I was really feeling my quads. Legs hurt. I don't know if it was from the time I have taken off and maybe also from a little weight that I may have gained but it was painful coming back down hill to finish. All in all this was a very good loop with some seriously steep climbing. we had to do quite a bit of walking.

well today I decided to give it a go at running. it didn't go great but it didn't feel bad. Hr was pretty high for the easy effort. Resting HR was also high. I am still very congested and still coughing. But I figure I have to get back to training.
