Mt. Biking 4:00:00 [3] 40.0 mi (10.0 mph) +6800ft

rode with Chad and Kurt up Black star down Motorway(was that an adventure) up maples springs. Didn't quite make it up to 4 corners as I lost one bottle cap and was out of water by the time I was 1/2 way up maples springs. So only climbed it up about 3/4 of the way and decided to turn back and head to the store in Silverado when I saw Chad and Kurt heading back down. All in all I just guessed that I rode about 3.5 miles less than Chad and about 400 to 500ft less climbing. My legs were cramping coming down motorway. I have no doubt that doing this type of MTB is going to get me in sub 5hr bike shape! This was a hard ride and I don't know if my quads have ever felt this tired!

After realizing how many Watts Chad was pushing on the climbs I don't feel so out of shape! Just not in great shape right now but IMCDA is still 5months away!

starting to feel good on the run even though the pace isn't fast. legs felt a little tired from lifting. I switched my lifting days around. Also started lifting a little heavier this last week.

got home late after the aero talk at SSC. Then warmed up the CT and build up to 220W and held it. warmed down. wanted to ride longer but it was late and I had to swim the next morning.
