easy recovery ride. was going to ride a little longer but decided to head home. started feeling good at the half way point. but I just kept the ride short.

felt much better today. rode pretty strong for my current level of fitness. the climbing came a little easier. still have to work on dropping even more weight. got another slight headache and a little bit of upset stomach after eating another power bar. But this time I only ate half of one. and that is what is causing me problems. Not necessarily the powerbar but the fact that I looked at the power bar and it has been expired for over a year! LOL I threw them away.

was going to ride a little longer but decided to just not push it. What a difference having calories on a ride makes for me. I think the next time I go on a long ride I am also going to have some calories before I head out maybe just a bar or something I am still starting my long rides on a empty stomach.

the fitness keeps coming, I am improving week by week!

Started off slow loosened up and it was on. Finished strong. Rode more of a tempo ride for the second half. The only bad thing is someone opened the car door on me on PCH just as an an RV was passing me. Luckily I was already riding a little bit away from the car doors & didn't swerve. Now I know why I don't like riding north of Beach Blvd on PCH!

don't remember the distance we will say two miles. I did two different machines. I think the first one is more like running. After talking to Johnny I think I am going to do this until I build it up over an hour and then maybe after that I will start runnin on the treadmill for a little bit and if all goes well and I run pain free on the treadmill I will start hitting the trails.
