changed it up and went a little shorter as I have to go eat some Menudo and then some Ribs!!! legs felt tired at first but was taking it really easy. strong head wind. heading back from the beach I had a strong tail wind and towards the end was steadily pulling the 12 and then pulled the 11 for about 1 to 2 min. that got the Hr up.

rode the canyon a little harder and went a little faster with more climbing today. as I took a slightly different route. was pretty sure I had a few more hundred feet of climbing but didn't think I would hit 5K. I still can't climb!!! my climbing is so slow it seems like I am going backwards everybody is passing me on the climbs. I think it has to be my weight. I just don't know. My fitness is slowly improving and I am also getting leaner week by week. But I guess I am still too heavy!!! I will weigh myself in the next couple weeks.

I am still Big ringing the Dump hill climb. did some stand up climbing on some smaller section and that got the HR up as well. It was hot!!! I am going to have to start biking earlier now.

Felt a little better from the get go. Did a steady state ride ride for about 20min heading to the beach and then another steady state ride heading back home. with a couple of strong efforts on some short inclines. definitely getting stronger on the bike!

left hammy sore, don't know if it is from doing work yesterday evening on the BBQ or from lifting. But I am pretty sure my sore back is from doing the bbq Island work. took me an hour to feel better on the bike but once I loosened up I thought I was riding well.
