Didn't think I climbed that much but I guess I did. Pulled a Slater and forgot my water bottles in the fridge. LOL but luckily the other day I had left a full water bottle in the car. I had bottled water also that I was thinking of using.

rode from Quail hill up the back of Newport then did Pelican Hill x2, NC x2, and Ridge Park x2. I think the backside of NC is steeper and Pelican Hill is steeper than NC. Ridgepark didn't seem too hard but I did climb that one in my easiest gear. All the others was one gear harder. I will probably do this again next week and try them all one gear harder. we will see. this was a confidence builder. But I am still climbing very slowly.

I pretty much just did a tempo ride after I loosened up on the bike. Felt good. But legs were really feeling it towards the end of the ride. Sweating buckets and also drank more water than usual.

started off at about 9:20 and increased the pace every .75 miles then did the last 5min or so at 7:24 pace to finish it off. run felt better. but the faster pace at the end got the HR up quick.

that easy run last night made for really good sleep last night. woke up earlier and rested. just rode easy as legs were tired from lifting, running and biking.

had a good ride out there. felt really good after the first 30min or so. then I just rode steady the entire time back to the beach. felt strong. on the way back I saw Kurt so I turned around and talked to him as he was jogging with Samantha. then pretty much pulled the 12 from the beach to my exit about 4 miles or so. with a little break at the bridge. it was hard towards the end and it got my hr up but I felt good pulling the 12 for about 10min or so.

well at least the run is still slowly improving, kept increasing the pace every 1 mile and did the last 1/2 mile or so at about 7:35 pace. It got the Hr up but the run is feeling better every week.
