did pretty much the same ride I did last week except that I added another out and back to back to Beach Blvd at the end. Also went looking for the SHS Beach reunion on the first and second out and back. I rode much stronger than last week. I did notice it consistently takes me about 30 min. or so to warm up. at about the 2 mile mark I got on some guys wheels and then on some faster guys wheels and it just seemed like I was going to have a bad day. but once I warmed up I rode pretty good. I am still only doing all flat work. but the endurance is coming and so is the power. I wasn't that much hungrier than last week. but when I got home I started to get really hungry. I am still trying to not take in too many calories on the bike rides.

wow, I felt really good on the bike today even with the legs feeling tired from lifting yesterday. I am just feeling stronger and stronger on the bike every time I go out at ride. I don't know if it was taking the week off because I was sick or because right now I am not running due to my injured right calf. maybe a combination of both. I hope it last.

legs were sore and tired but I the squats felt easier. probably a combination of getting slightly stronger and dropping a little bit more weight.

took it easy on the way out and picked up the pace on the way back. I rode a gear faster today on the way back. I think I was riding a little stronger and I also was riding in the drops for some time and trying to be aero a bit.

felt good on the ride even though the legs were really sore from squatting and lunges. I really feel the squats after taking time off from lifting.
