went up to Dawson Saddle from the Azusa Highway 39 Parking lot with Greg, Lendo, Spencer and Greg. was trying to keep HR in check and didn't climb too hard as this was going to be a 7200ft climb. Made it to the Crystal Lake turn off about 4 minutes slower than last time but with much less effort and with the heart rate average much lower. We saw the PCT 100 races at the 39 and 2 intersection. On the way down from the Saddle I almost got taken out by a giant Squirrel, had to lock up and skid shortly after that I flatted in the badly damaged and closed section of HWY 39. Pretty much every one flatted on the really bad roads with rocks everywhere. We then went to Crystal Lake and had some Cheeseburgers. I saw a bear trying to get into a car on the way down.

just a regular ride, legs didn't feel sore from lifting yesterday but it just seemed the effort and HR were harder and higher than they should've been on this ride. we will see how it goes tomorrow as we are climbing up to Dawson's Saddle.

first ride with power in about 5 years. was just trying to see how it went trying to hold a steady 200W for the entire ride. Legs are still a little bit sore and tired from the Big ride on Saturday. I finished off a little stronger. The power is down about 20% and the weight is up about 5Kg.
