bike 6:20:00 [3] 87.96 mi (13.9 mph) +11007ft
ahr:142 max:171 weight:167.2lbs

Rode from GMR to Crystal Lake to East Fork to Baldy Village. Rode with Slate, Greg S and Greg W. This was the first ride where I felt like I actually had some power and I didn't tire either. I did have calories for breakfast, I had more calories during the ride and it was a little cooler. All in all I am very happy with the ride as I PR'd all the climbing. now just need to drop more weight.

bike 2:28:00 [3] 45.68 mi (18.5 mph) +568ft
ahr:117 max:159 weight:166.6lbs

was just going to do an easy to moderate ride. I got a flat in the first 10 minutes of riding. Ran into Slate and went back to Portola with Lendog and Spencer to Meet Slate. then we rode to Velo Pacific and road back. Had some good efforts on the way back sucking wheel. feeling tired right now but felt fine during the ride. Slowly but surely getting stronger.

legs felt a little tired from yesterdays Tempo/interval ride. I think I am going to stick with that plan. I was still able to lift the same weight. And I actually felt the squats on my entire legs this time. Also my legs are not as tired as I get an extra day of rest after lifting and I think that allows me to go harder on the intervals.

what a difference a day makes! yesterday I was feeling horrible and actually cut the ride short. Today I was feeling my legs tired but decided to do a tempo ride anyways. Well I had a really good ride. I finally felt pretty good on the bike. lt looks like last weeks riding is paying off now.

was going to try to do a Tempo ride today but I was feeling tired and my legs were really sore. I just did an easier ride and I cut it short as well. I may have to do this week easier than I planned. the 6 straight days of biking and then the big climb on Saturday really took it out of me.
