Event: ICO Annual Paddle-O

Adventure Race race (Paddle O Canoe and Foot) 4:00:00 [4] 18.63 km (12:53 / km) +38m 12:45 / km

Annual Paddle O put on by Indiana Crossroads Orienteering Club. Very fun event and Mike Garrison did an excellent job of estimating time. Chris Gerstle and I (And with Moon Dog a very reluctant Partner) managed to get all but 7 points. We might have had a chance to come closer but with all the extra weight of the Rental Canoe, Moondog and a load of water along with a hitch Hiking Fish, we were slow on the Water. The course had more Paddling on it this year which worked against us. Overall a fun meet and Chris and I will be more prepared next year. Meet featured 2 Stand up Paddlers: Bob Diehl and Diane McKim along with a mystery Russian woman who did the entire course on foot wearing only a bikini.
