Orienteering race 1:01:44 [4] 7.89 km (7:49 / km) +132m 7:13 / km
shoes: INOV8 Talon 200

What should have been a very fast trail run turned into a mess with Heavy Rains. I have been trying to figure out what to do in this case. Bottom line is I could not read the map. Decided just to sort of get in the vicinity of the control and look around. This of course was not very reliable but I finished.
Beautiful Park and Cascade OC is very organized in the approach. There were no options for getting off trail but that would have been worse for me seeing that I could not read the map.

After getting settled in to AirBnB in Seattle. Asked around and found that Lincoln Park was the closest Park for a Trail Run. Just a beautiful Park overlooking Puget Sound. Good amount of climb from the Beach to the Top.

Weather warmed up and I had about an hour. Tough week at work so decided to do more mapping at EP Sawyer. Very challenging map. There is very little detail on this map with the vegetation not really matching up with anything. Ended up with a pretty good hour of work.
