Orienteering Meet at Rough River SP.
Stop and go pace while taking Moondog with me. He got stuck on the wrong side of a fence at one point and could not explain to him how to get back. Put leash on, Take Leash off, Repeat repeat. Beautiful weather and Diane took her Paddle board and enjoyed 2 hours of paddling

Ran without Moondog. He caused me problems yesterday and I lost him for the first time in 4 years. He will be taking walks around the neighborhood while on a leash for awhile

Can I blame it on the Shoes? Not sure why I did so poorly here but could hav e been that I never warmed up and that first hill took it out of me. Also , even though I have run for the 4th day in a row, I still need a few weeks of getting back in shape after acting like a slug. I did not even see control #7 and the creek looked kind of inviting so I had a MP. Only one on the course. Good course by Carl Christy and slowed a lot of the people down who are fairly new

Orienteering race 9:35 [4] 142.0 km (4 / km) +14m 4 / km

Course was very short and probably too short.. Misplaced control threw me off but my speed was down again despite being warmed up by the first race. Will work harder to get myself ready for the Rabbit next week
