Note

Been pumping it up in Lanzarote all week dude! XD lots of triathletes there- saw some pretty sleek carbon fibre bikes pedalling round the resort and there was gym equipment on the promenade by the beach and always see folk running! :)

Made silly mistake at 3- thought that it should've been green vegetation on the map when it was still just White so I thought I was in a different place on the map and the other start put me off and the fact there was no powerlines marked on the map. mucked up number 14- went too far round the hill- went down to a path not sure which one tho so went further to another path- should've managed to relocate much quicker than I did :( apart from those 2 things i thought it was a pretty decent run....until I saw the results and realised how crap I'd done :(

Soooo hot. Mucked up 2 of them- one after I'd ran down steps and my shoes got caught and came off so I had to get them back on and the other just after the crossing before the underpass... Silly mistakes though :/

FB3 B final... Just quite slow I think...lots of steps climbing which was tough in the heat and my decision making was generally slow (getting up at 3.30am)

Compass bearing training on blank white maps with no scale and no north line...7 of those I think... Then did pacing counts, 4*100m going up and down the track and then another 4*100m on the terrain. Then did some more legs but this time it was to scale so using pacing and compass bearing. Then a mini course race type thing round....I did try rly hard for this, think I was about 5th, it is pretty tough going up the steep bits in tht terrain :/ then collected in controls as a warm down :) decided to jst rest until the weekend, have to do lots of studying tho b4 we go on holiday

same run as yesterday, pushed myself hard to beat my time yesterday, had a bit of a head wind, saw Taw and Devon as I ran up the hill to Tesco's, raced Taw (he was on his bike) :P absolutely shatter battered mars bar once i finished
