Training together with Olaf in a modified map, which did not have vegetation and roads marked on it. Very high pace (for me), we alternated lead to every control, therefore I was responsible for orienteering to 6 of them. Felt very tired at the end.

Score-O training course in Uilenbosch with e-punching. Very, very enjoyable, despite my 2 smaller and one gigantic mistake (in the area where I always make mistakes).

Last of summer end competitions. I came third again but won the series total. One mistake where I am frustrated with myself and lost about 3 minutes just because I was too tired to look at my compass. One mistake at the same place where I made a mistake last time running on this map and where I feel the map is not accurate. The first place beat me by 6 minutes and I could not keep up with him when he caught me by 2 minutes, he just ran away. The good thing is that I did not lose any time to him in the more technical area where I adjusted my speed nicely and took safe approaches, which worked quite well.

Decided to try floorball for the first time. Very easy training physically, hard technically - I just could not get that ball to fly!!!

Race around Twente University campus. 90% of running was on paved roads and I, not knowing that, came with my spiked running shoes, which was a big mistake because my feet now are blistery and otherwise dead. I came third, 19 seconds after the winner and 3 seconds behind the second place and the sad part is that I had caught up with the winner (2 minutes) and then he and the guy I had caught for 4 minutes just ran away... I guess this victory was lost on shoe choice, because none of my non-spikes cost me more than 10 seconds, mostly they were in 3-5 second range. Update: I just read that the map scale was wrong and it was 1:10 000 rather than 7 500, therefore the course was 33% longer than advertized. And I was wondering why my speed was slow:)
