Sunday Apr 29

Running 39:26 [3] 7.3 km (5:24 / km) +180m 4:49 / km
ahr:174
Hot, and I was running too soon after having a big lunch (one baseball game after, but it was a short game).

Friday Apr 27

Running warm up/down 9:24 [3] 1.7 km (5:32 / km) +30m 5:05 / km
ahr:163
Warm up until the bridge below Phipps conservatory.
Running hills 3:35 [5] 0.9 km (3:59 / km) +90m 2:39 / km
Three repeats up the hill full speed. Planned to do 4 but almost threw up after the third, so stopped.
1.01
1.13
1.21

Not exactly sign of progress.
Running warm up/down 6:29 [1] 1 km (6:29 / km)
Recovery between hill repeats
Running warm up/down 7:36 [2] 1.3 km (5:51 / km) +10m 5:38 / km
ahr:172
Running home. Heart rate through the roof, feeling like crap.

Thursday Apr 26

Running 41:31 [3] 7.3 km (5:41 / km) +180m 5:04 / km
ahr:168
Home - library - bridle trail (clockwise) - library - home.

Sunday Apr 22

Orienteering race 1:49:36 [2] ***** 8.1 km (13:32 / km) +290m 11:29 / km
ahr:170 spiked:8/18c
2nd day of HVO A-meet. The main problem was that by the middle of the course my feet had turned into 2 gigantic blisters, so even walking was painful. I somehow toughed it out anyway.

Blue, Day 2 - Splits

Saturday Apr 21

Event: HVO A-Meet

Orienteering race 2:04:55 [3] ***** 8.5 km (14:42 / km) +300m 12:30 / km
ahr:175 spiked:11/17c
First day of HVO meet. Very difficult physically and techincally, plus hot. Did ok technically, just did not have any power in my legs.

Blue, Day 1 - Splits

Sunday Apr 15

Note
WPOC meet at the University Farm
Orienteering race 1:07:30 [3] *** 5.32 km (12:41 / km) +265m 10:09 / km
spiked:12/15c
Very wet (thus, muddy on the slopes, which means throughout the course) competition. Did fine, one silly routechoice, one not noticing the bag right away and one case of dubious map and being distracted by 8 deer.

Saturday Apr 14

Note
Deloitte Run Your Heart Out 15k, South Park
Running race 1:14:40 [4] 15 km (4:59 / km) +400m 4:24 / km
ahr:178
The climb is a guess but it was very hilly. Perhaps started too easily because I had a lot of energy left for a surge in the last mile.
