Sunday Nov 25

Running long 1:28:46 [2] 16.9 km (5:15 / km) +150m 5:02 / km
ahr:159 max:168 shoes: Asics grey
A very nice run on Panhandle trail near Pittsburgh. The temperature was right (or I was dressed just for the right temperature) and it felt nice to run on something else besides pavement.

Saturday Nov 24

Running 23:40 [3] 5.2 km (4:33 / km) +25m 4:27 / km
ahr:153 max:180 shoes: Asics grey
Aborted attempt at exercising. Turned out that my running on treadmill was bothering someone living upstairs from the treadmill room and when i went outside it was way too cold for shorts and t-shirt run. Burned off perhaps one wing of the turkey.

Tuesday Nov 20

Running 34:05 [3] 6.5 km (5:15 / km) +10m 5:12 / km
ahr:167 max:180 shoes: Asics grey
Seriously disgusting weather. Rain, wind and colder than I anticipated, therefore my hands were numb pretty much the whole time. Proud of myself for not chickening out and still going for a run.

Sunday Nov 18

Event: WCOC Wooster Mtn Meet

Running warm up/down 5:00 [1] 0.5 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Asics grey
A very short warm-up before the race
Running race 28:40 [4] 4.0 mi (7:09 / mi) +70m 4:13 / km vdot: 44.6
shoes: Asics grey
Race to Deliver in the Central Park. Arrived late so had to start with people, who had put themselves near the 9 minutes/mile start line. In fact, 3/4 of people starting ahead of me were running 10+ minute miles. I really don't understand the motivation for this - spent the first mile jumping around people. Splits: 7.02, 7.18, 7.26, 6.54
C • People think they can run faster 1

Saturday Nov 17

Running 40:54 [2] 7.3 km (5:36 / km) +70m 5:21 / km
ahr:162 max:175 shoes: Asics grey
Went running in Central Park with a friend. Running with company is much easier.

Wednesday Nov 14

Running 59:35 [3] 11.4 km (5:14 / km) +15m 5:12 / km
ahr:164 max:181 shoes: Asics grey
Ran in shorts and a t-shirt and still was sweating like a pig. This weather does not exactly look great for skiing this winter.
C • However it is great for Polar Bear Club swims 1

Tuesday Nov 13

Running 42:17 [3] 8 km (5:17 / km) +10m 5:15 / km
ahr:163 max:176 shoes: Asics grey
Very warm mid-November night. Did not need the long sleeves I was wearing.

Sunday Nov 11

Event: WCOC Sessions Woods

Running 1:14:31 [2] 13.4 km (5:34 / km) +25m 5:31 / km
ahr:160 max:170 shoes: Asics grey
A run shortly before and shortly after dark.

Wednesday Nov 7

Running 42:13 [3] 8 km (5:17 / km) +10m 5:15 / km
ahr:166 max:187 shoes: Asics grey
There was some major headwind on my way back (I guess there must have been tailwind on my way out; attackpoint says that it was 27km/h wind), which made things challenging.

Monday Nov 5

Running long 1:18:58 [2] 9.1 mi (8:41 / mi) +60m 5:17 / km
ahr:163 max:177 shoes: Asics grey
Inspired by the NYC marathon i watched yesterday, decided to run a little more today. Perfect running conditions. Struggled a bit towards the end.

Friday Nov 2

Running 39:38 [3] 7.7 km (5:09 / km) +10m 5:07 / km
ahr:172 max:184 shoes: Asics grey
Felt a bit cold in the beginning but after that it was perfect running temperature. A little bit breezy on the way out, but the same breeze was helping on the way back.
