Running long 1:23:45 [2] 15.8 km (5:18 / km) +150m 5:04 / km
ahr:166 max:180 shoes: Asics grey

Took a train to Central Park, run a shortened long loop and then ran home. Was only wearing a long sleeved shirt with no gloves and my hands mostly felt chilly. I swear i did not make the time (12345) up:)

Running 31:58 [2] 6.0 km (5:20 / km) +70m 5:02 / km
ahr:162 max:175 shoes: Asics grey

Circled around Strasbourg, eventually failing to find a good, constantly runnable route in the centre of the city. Did get some activity done though.

Running 38:12 [3] 7.3 km (5:14 / km) +70m 5:00 / km
ahr:164 max:177 shoes: Asics grey

A run in Central Park with a friend. We were planning to take it slow but it didn't work out that way.

Running 41:52 [3] 8.1 km (5:10 / km) +10m 5:08 / km
ahr:164 max:174 shoes: Asics grey

Tuesday Jan 15, 2008 #

Running 34:28 [2] 6.5 km (5:18 / km) +10m 5:16 / km
ahr:164 max:171 shoes: Asics grey

Felt slightly tired. Must be that Sunday's long run can still be felt in the muscles, although I wasn't sore or anything.

Sunday Jan 13, 2008 #

Running long 1:27:51 [2] 16.7 km (5:16 / km) +120m 5:05 / km
shoes: Asics grey

First 7k or so with company and the rest on my own. Beautiful day for running.

Running 30:52 [2] 6.4 km (4:49 / km) +10m 4:47 / km
shoes: Asics grey

Heart rate monitor still screwed up. So is the "winter" weather.

Thursday Jan 10, 2008 #

Running 40:40 [2] 8.0 km (5:05 / km) +10m 5:03 / km
ahr:158 max:167 shoes: Asics grey

I think the heart rate monitor acted up again, but only at the very end of the run - perhaps i should look into changing the batteries?

Note

A large celebration will be held tonight to honor the 500th visit to my log.

Running 40:22 [2] 8.0 km (5:03 / km) +10m 5:01 / km
max:172 shoes: Asics grey

HRM went crazy and thinks that my ahr was 127. I was taking it easy but not THAT easy. Still shorts and a t-shirt.

Running 31:43 [3] 6.5 km (4:53 / km) +10m 4:51 / km
ahr:171 max:185 shoes: Asics grey

Shorts and t-shirt and a lot of sweating. That's an interesting January in New York.

Sunday Jan 6, 2008 #

Running long 1:22:16 [3] 16.1 km (5:07 / km) +100m 4:57 / km
ahr:169 max:183 shoes: Asics grey

Got some funny looks when I was taking a subway to the Central Park dressed in shorts and long-sleeved shirt in January. But the weather merited that. A beautiful afternoon, temperature around 50.

Saturday Jan 5, 2008 #

Running 33:27 [3] 6.5 km (5:09 / km) +10m 5:06 / km
ahr:172 max:188 shoes: Asics grey

It turns out that cop cars in NYC don't have to obey the same rules as everyone else - I almost got killed crossing a street at a green light by a cop car, which had decided to run a red light without any sound or light signals whatsoever. The run was nice.
