	Skied around the base of a downhill slope at Peek'n Peak, NY early in the morning, before the lifts opened. Felt very nice for all the climbs I was doing, being on skis for the first time this winter and skiing on artificial snow. Did some 4 hours of downhill later on, starting on the bunny slope as a complete beginner and ending on the black diamonds (though falling at the very bottom). It is so much easier to control downhill skis!
