Strasbourg half-marathon. Started fast, prehaps too fast, but after a while was passed by the 1:45 pace man. Hung behing him until shortly before 17 km mark, after which found some energy reserves and ran away. Felt good about my shape. This appears to be a new half-marathon PB.

Running 1:07:16 [2] 13 km (5:10 / km) +60m 5:03 / km
ahr:158 max:177 shoes: White Asics II
A very comfortable-feeling after-work run. Need to measure the distance and re-check the time and the hr.

Orienteering race 1:44:08 [4] **** 11.3 km (9:13 / km) +235m 8:21 / km

The last day of the Belgian 3-days. Decided to skip the warm-up altogether and it (or better brain activity) must have helped. Only 7 minutes of mistakes and I was pretty satisfied with my run. The terrain was much more reminiscent of Latvian terrains, so I felt more at home. Placing reasonably well did not save me from coming last over three days' total among the qualified runners. I decided that it is a sign that I should be more realistic about my abilities and start running H21A from now on.
