Grape Stomper course. First goal was under 45, effectively achieved the moment I got the good bike; second goal was under 40, clearly doable as my PR was 39:32. Then as soon as I started, I noticed that the current Y seasonal record was 39:01, so the stretch goal was now 39 or better. Much like last Tuesday, I seemed to be behind pace a good bit, but this ride finishes up hill (except for the last 1/3 mile) so I was worried. In the end, I made it, but felt it. (I guess that's a good thing.) Top 15% overall; top 20% age group. Took back my #1 ranking at the Y (out of twelve.) P:228; C:58.
