Alpine Splash course. Rode moderately (but not extremely) hard most of the way and opened up a steady bit on my ghost. Top 10% overall; missed top 10% age group by four seconds. Moved up one place on all-time Y leader board to second, fourteen seconds out of first. P:237; C:56.

Coastal Run course. Fell behind my (very fast!) ghost early and never caught up - or even maintained pace. Ended up thirty-five seconds (ten seconds/mile!) off pace. Was on the "slower" bike (not sure if that's still a thing) for the first time in months. Top 15% overall; top 20% age group. Second all time at the Y using either time; ghost is twelve seconds off the Y record. P:213; C:57

Bent Spoke course. Fought with my ghost for a bit and then pulled away, ultimately beating him by fourteen seconds - almost 2%. Top 5% overall; top 10% age group. Had been second all time at the Y by one second (but did not know that) so I am now the leader. P:236; C:61
