Lost Valley

After a week off due to illness and recovery, I was hurting. I was hoping to break 40 minutes with the stretch goal of a PR (38:39). I felt weak, but worked hard to keep ahead of my ghost. I had about twenty seconds on him until the cramps started. With 1.2 miles to go, I had them in both legs and I lost a lot of time, including getting passed by the ghost in the last mile. Top 20% overall; top 25% age group. Still first all-time at the Y by 17 seconds. Note: today would have been second by one second; I would have hated myself. P:222; C:56.
