Started strong and just slowly opened up distance on my ghost, somehow beating him by thirteen seconds! Top 2% overall; top ten (tenth, actually) age group - out of 559. Took over first all-time at the Y (out of seventy-eight), now by two seconds. (Had been in fifth.) P:287; C:58.

For the first half, neither I nor my ghost ever led. Then I opened up a small lead, ultimately upping it to two seconds. Top 2% overall; top 3% age group. Still hold the all-time record at the Y (out of eighty-two), now by five seconds. P:286; C:58.

Got on the bad bike and it was over before it started. Ghost had opened up a 1 second lead after 0.1 miles and it only grew from there. Ultimately, could only muster a "third" for the Y for the season and a personal worst by thirty-one seconds. Top 20% overall and age group. Still third all-time at the Y (out of fifty-nine) by twenty-eight seconds , but this ride would only have been eighth. P:206; C:58.
