TMO Lucomagno - 2nd place

Had big difficulties in the beginning to understand the map and know what to look after, and I did a lot of smaller mistakes (l<1 min). The 2nd half of the course was more physical and I did not have the legs to run fast today.

Sabine had a good day, and could thereby easily take todays win with almost 6 min!

7th national at San Bernadino pass. 7th place

Felt better today, but started out not too hard because I was still unsure before the start. Came too low to the 1st control misinterpreting the map (1 min lost maybe) and again to the 3rd got unsure and lost 1 min. After that everything went better, and the body felt much lighter than yesterday eventhough the race was above 2000 m attitude. Did some smaller mistakeks, but mostly stable the 2nd half, and I really enjoyed the fantastic alpine terrain. Also pushed a little harder the 2nd half of the race (running quite fast also the first part...). Nice to see that my speed was quite good, compared to the others.

Norwegian Championships Relay - 1st leg

Ran the 1st leg for Raumar, and ran a stable technical race. Was tired physically, but managed to run fast enough. Had no energy to sprint for the leg win, but could send out Karoline Sønsterudbråten in 3rd position togther with the leading teams. In the end we unfortunately got disqualified after a wrong control on the 2nd leg. Tiril Ruud Bråten ran the 3rd and last leg.

Norwegian Champs Long Distance -> 5th place

Decide to run safe to the 1st control, but loose almost 2 min on doing so without doing any mistake - maybe I hesitated about 20 sec into the control. I got catched by Mari Fasting starting 2 min behind me approaching the 2nd control, which I also searched a little, maybe 30 sec lost. After that I ran a very stable technical performance, but lost Mari's back through a green area to the 4th. Some smaller errors, but nothing big. I knew also before the race that my physical shape probably not was the best, and I felt during the race that I lacked the top speed.

Anyway, satisfied with my performance, and 5th place is better than what I have managed the last years (with 11 - 8 - 8 - 9 the last 4 years). My best NM results in the forest diciplins are from mye two first years as a D21 -> with 4th place in long two years in a row (2009 and 2010).
