Idanha O-meeting long distance - same map as yesterday. Took it quite easy in order to save some energy for the rest of the week. Still nice and challenging orienteering. Got the 5th overall position.

Idanha O-meeting middle distance WRE. Started out good, and made only a small mistake to the 4th control (10-15s) and was leading the race until the 7th control. Got a bit unsure into the 8th control and had to lost between 30 and 60 s on this control. AT this point Nadia Volynska took over the lead and kept it all the way. I continued good until the long leg to the 13th. Thought it looked good to run a bit up first and than run in the yellow with some green and then down into the control - this was wrong! The map after the arena passage was drawn by an other mapper, and the mapping style was different, What I though was semi-open with good runability was stony, with green bushes and I more or less walked, climed and crawled all the way loosing between 1 - 2 min to those who went down around in the white forest..... This costed me 2-3 positions, but I am still satisfied with my technical performance and offensive running the whole course. In the end I got 4th-position 2:30 min behind Volynska.

Idanha o-meeting night sprint in Idanha. Was a bit tired after the middle distance, and struggled with the park in the beginning and also a bit with the mapping style. Doing too many mistakes and having tired legs I was not satiesfied wiith my performance.
