LOK Holmbury hill : a nice steady fast pace , no mistakes more than a few seconds . Stayed well in contact with the map. Very nice open area . 17th out of 45 on M50L.

run down to meadows and along river at Guildford with Molly . Cool down run after O meet

Hiking all around UW Madison Campus to see the sites w/ K and L and go to a Badger Hockey game. The Badger fans were unrelenting in their verbal and psychological assault on the visiting team (Mankato State) (One of the chants was "Gopher rejects" then later "St Cloud rejects" ). Badger's won 4-2 ; we wore red and made sure that no one saw our MN license plates !

run along trolley car trail and through KA. Air temp -4F cold wind 12 - 15 mph wind chill - 22F ; very cold on exposed flesh (parts of face) in wind. Bright and sunny out . Glad we postponed the O meet.
