On the Nenana river from Denali park entrance to Healy with Lori . Several class III and one IV rapid . Sunny day . Awesome trip

Triple lakes hike in Denali park with Jane and Roger ( to halfway point) and Just Lori for the thru hike . Nice trail with good views and nice weather .

Took water taxi over to kachenmak state park from Homer . Too rough to land at glacier spit so we started at the saddle trailhead . Grewingk glacier lake was very scenic with large icebergs floating in it and blue ice glacier . Walked to the tram ( wire rope shuttle bridge across the river ) and then back for pickup . No bears seen but many signs .

Hike up to Exit Glacier viewpoint near Seward . Neat thing there was the year markers all the way from 1899 ( about 3 miles away ) to 2014 250 yards away from front face of glacier showing the fast shrinking

Kayaking in the Holgate arm on the Kenai peninsula. Boat from Seward then paddled right in front of the calving glacier ( loud sounds of pieces cracking and falling off . 1 very large section causes a 10’ high wave which fortunately dissipated in the 600 m stretch to us . It was a 2’ high swell when the wave reached us . Paddled in the smashed ice and through the small icebergs. Then went along the remote coastline. Heavy rain but spectacular waterfalls .
