Swimming 20:00 [3]
After waking up to a dreary, grey rainy morning, I decided to make myself some pancakes. It was also a good way to use up the rest of the buttermilk. After eating pancakes, though, I decided I needed to do something to burn some calories and since biking was out due to the rain, I headed to the pool. It went a little better this time than last, and I was able to eke out some 100's instead of just 50's. That felt good.
I also used some swim gloves for the first time. Caitlin got them for me for Christmas, and this was the first time I remembered to bring them with me. I only lasted one lap with them because they do make your arm muscles work a lot more than normal. I'll have to build up my laps with them. After I took them off, my arms felt so fast for the next few laps. Then they went back to their normal slow, plodding ways.
