Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]

Spent some time in Lewis Morris Park, scouting out some control sites for my meet. I had the updated map this time(!), so the trails matched up much better. I still have to make a couple of recent adjustments, but nothing too bad.

Stretching 7:00 [1]

10 AM

Running (trails at JH) 59:45 [3] 4.42 mi (13:30 / mi) +121m 12:27 / mi

A relaxed LSD session, with more S than L. It was a splendid day, with perfect running temps and beautiful, colorful leaves. Although, the leaves were plentiful enough on the trails that I had to be careful because I couldn't see the covered rocks and roots. I'm getting very good at fall prevention, that is being able to go through a stumbling recovery so I don't actually go down. Now, that's a special talent.

I was also wondering if there was a correlation between the high number of short, older, slightly pudgy women walking small dogs that I saw on the trails to the number of freshly fallen white Kleenexes I saw. I think there might be.
