Brown course at Patapsco Avalon.
I got there an hour before starts opened, but I was hoping to get out early because I had a lot to do today. And, as I suspected, the courses were ready, so I went out early.
Everything went pretty well. A few bananas, but I found everything fine. And I was moving pretty well. My route choice to #6 was less than optimal, but I couldn't decide to climb the hill in time, so just kept running along the small trail. The most noticeable mistake was going into the last control. I opted to hit it straight on, which meant going down a very steep slope. I thought I was going down the reentrant that led right to the control, but I, in fact, was one over, so when I got to the bottom, I was a little perplexed. I quickly sorted it out, but lost some time there.
Then off to Ikea for Julebord supplies. And a trip to Graham's for a visit and to hand over some mail and one of my beautiful loaves of bread. Then home to rake and bag leaves, and put up the last of the Christmas lights.
