| Bike 35E - Valley - Dodd - Lone Oak - 494 bridge - Cedar bridge - Mendota - 35E. At about mile 25 I was really starting to flag, and remembered that I'd forgotten to eat today. The last few miles were really not much fun at all. Consider it "expedition race training." |

| I must have strained my right ankle last night - I'm limping in the mornings. It's on the inside, apparently not connected with the weekend activities. Probably just needs a couple days of rest. |

| First sprint at Como. Fast running, and somewhat of a warmup. Took a bad route from 7-8 cutting through some woods where it would have been better to go around near the start. |
