First PQ specific training event of the year. Point-to-point map hike (about 20 points) at Afton with special emphasis on bouncing between the top and the bottom of the bluffs. According to the O-map, the route crossed 200 uphill contours, and it sure felt like it. My pack wasn't very heavy (started about 10 lbs), but I figured that was OK because of the 1-10 inches of snow, quite variable depending on the slope and exposure.
