Throat still sore.

Orienteering (sprint) 11:01 [4] ** 2.22 km (4:58 / km)
spiked:9/9c shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (2007, gray)

Sprint S at Como. Very good run.

Orienteering 12:04 [4] ** 2.22 km (5:26 / km)
spiked:8/11c shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (2007, gray)

Sprint N. Not so good, considering I ran to the finish with 2 control left. Oops, run to get the other two. Doh. Messed up splits as well (I think I accidentally canceled the first run, missed the middle, then recorded the final 2 in a separate file), but the posted splits are fairly accurate.

Running (trail) (control retrieval) 30:00 [2] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

Cooldown and tape pickup.

Note
(sick)

Mild cough, sore throat & sinuses, and tender glands. Not affecting deep breathing, but low energy and sleeping a lot.

Started yesterday during class. Guess I was exposed to a bunch of new germs :)

Note

Day 2 of WFA class. Again, lots of time outside but nothing loggable.

Note

Day 1 of WFA class. Spent a large part of the day outside, but nothing loggable. I did manage to do a good impression of someone who fell out of a tree while birdwatching and landed on his head.

Also had to calm down a "combative patient" with a head injury. We ran the scenario right next to the sidewalk and it freaked out a couple of pedestrians. It was working OK until we both burst out laughing at the absurdity.

Orienteering (memory) 50:00 [3] *** 6.0 km (8:20 / km)
spiked:20/20c

TNT course, by memory, moderate speed to get a baseline. Not sure whether to do 45 or 60 minute, although I tend towards the latter. That should allow some of the faster runners to get them all, assuming no major snafus.
